We value your privacy and are committed to treat your personal details with care. Naturally, in doing so, we follow the applicable data protection regulations. Personal data we process
When you only visit our website, we only use functional and anonymised analytical cookies. The data we store with these cookies does not contain any personally identifiable information.
We process personal data when you use our services and/or provide it to us yourself, for example by filling in the contact form. The following data may be processed:

- Organization name

- Postal address
- Invoice address/email
- Other personal data you provide yourself; e.g. dietary wishes

We do not process special and/or sensitive information
Our website and/or services are not intended to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore recommend that parents are involved in their children's online activities. If you suspect that we have collected data from a minor, please contact us via info@publicaffairsacademie.nl so that we can delete this information.
Reasons for processing personal data
We process personal data solely for the following purposes:

How long do we keep personal data?
We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as long as legally required.
We apply the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:
- Invoicing details, we keep for the Dutch Tax Administration's legal retention period.
- Data of clients or other recipients of our products or services or people who contact us via the contact form, we keep for the duration of the business relationship.
- Address details for sending newsletters, we keep until you withdraw your consent.
Sharing personal data with third parties
We only share your personal data with third parties if this is necessary for the performance of a contract or to comply with legal obligations. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude processing agreements to guarantee confidentiality and security. Public Affairs Academie remains responsible for these processes.
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
We use functional and anonymised cookies that make your visit to the website as optimal as possible. And we use cookies from Google Analytics to monitor the volume of traffic to the website.
Viewing, modifying or deleting data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Public Affairs Academie and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send your personal data that we have in a file to you or another organisation of your choice.
You can file a request of viewing, correcting, deleting or transferring your data; file a request to withdraw your consent, or file objection to the use of your personal data to info@publicaffairsacademie.nl.
In order to be certain that the request is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. Make sure to black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers under the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is for your privacy protection. We will respond as soon as possible, but within four weeks, to your request.
We would also like to inform you that you have the right to file a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens if you feel that your privacy rights have been violated.
Security of personal data
We take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification.
